RosGeologiya specified the geological structure of Bogorodsk site in Saratov region

RosGeo is a Russian multi-disciplinary geological holding that carries out a full range of services related to geological exploration: from regional surveys to parametric drilling and monitoring of subsoil conditions. The holding company boasts a unique expertise, particularly in marine geology and shelf operations.

RosGeo was established following the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of July 15, 2011, No. 957 on the basis of Tsentrgeologiya, an oldest Russian geological enterprise. Rosgeo is a fully state-owned company.

The enterprises within the Holding company operate in all eight Federal Districts of Russia. A total of more than 1000 fields and deposits have been discovered by the holding’s companies, including major hydrocarbon and solid mineral deposits and fields.

Volgogradneftegeofizika traces back to 1950. Since the foundation the company has fulfilled more than 200,000 linear km of 2D CDPM and 7400 sq. km of 3D CDPM seismic profiles in Volgograd, Saratov, Samara, Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, Rostov and Astrakhan regions, the Chechen Republic and the Republic of Kalmykia. Almost the entire territory of Volgograd region has been studied by methods of electroexploration. The company specialists took part in various international projects (India, Algeria, Iran, Uzbekistan).

According to the seismic survey data, more than 350 structures are recommended to drill, and more than 50 raw hydrocarbon deposits with total reserves of more than 90 mln conventional tons have been already discovered.
