Detailing the geological structure of the subsurface areas within BOS183D field
The works were carried out by the research vessel "Academician Primakov"
3D acquisition: swathe acquisition geometry, Q-Marine Gel towed streamers, 12 streamers by 480 channels each, distance between the channels: 12.5 m., distance between the streamers: 100 m, recording length: 10 seconds.
The seismic streamer submerging was controlled by IRMA system, the modules were located in 400 meters.
Pneumatic - 2 sources with 3 pneumatic source lines Bolt 1500LL, 1900LLX, volume: 2 x 3793 cubic inches, distance between the sources: 50 meters, depth of submersion: 6 m.
Installation of the streamers and seismic pneumatic source points is performed by monowings.
The positioning of the seismic streamers and seismic pneumatic source points was controlled by IRMA system.
The acquisition site BOS183D is located on the shelf of Morocco (West Africa).
The acquisition site consisted of 56 lines of 1000 sq. km total area. The acquisition was performed in the direction 90° / 270°. The sea depth within the site ranged from 300 m (in the East) to 1700 m (in the West).
All obtained profile were processed with application of the geophysical processing software package SeisSpace 5000.10. In addition, the navigation data were completely processed. There was no complaint with respect to the quality of the produced material from the customer.
